One major headache for the livestock industry is the contamination of around 25% of the world's feed production by mycotoxins, or mold. In March 2006, DKSH was appointed exclusive distributor of Schering-Plough's Cooperbind product in Malaysia. Cooperbind is an effective mycotoxin binder that is incorporated into animal feed to bind the mycotoxins that are harmful for the growth and development of animals such as poultry and swine.
